Eczema
Eczema or atopic dermatitis is a common skin disease. The pathology involves in an increased level of IgE antibodies (Immunoglobulin E) in the body, suggesting an allergic reaction. Eczema is characterized by dermal tissue inflammation, itching, skin peeling/flaking, redness, and a mild burning sensation. It may be associated with oozing, itching. In Ayurveda, Vicharchika which is similar to the symptoms of Eczema, occurs mainly due to vitiation of kapha dosha in rasa, rakta dhatus.

Vitiligo
Vitiligo is characterized by hypo-pigmentation of the skin. It is a chronic auto-immune disorder. The white (hypopigmented) patches can occur in any region from scalp to the toe. The hair follices near the lesion can also turn white in color. Vitiligo causes cosmetic disfigurement resulting in low esteem in the patients. Very few options are available in modern medicine for the treatment. The signs and symptoms according to Ayurveda are similar to Svitra.

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory condition mainly affecting the skin and joints. Men are affected more than twice and often compared to women. Urticaria

Ringworm
Ringworm or Tinea is a fungal infection of the skin. It is characterized by round reddish white rashes associated with severe itching. Maintening proper hygiene is necessary to prevent recurring tinea infections. In Ayurveda, this condition is described as Dadru kushta.
